Terms and Conditions


 Experience Overview
Off The Hook Experiences is a curated, all-inclusive kiteboarding and wing foiling camp including:
  • Coaching and guided on-water sessions
  • Use of designated demo equipment
  • Lodging arranged by Off The Hook Kiteboarding
  • Select group meals
  • Brand activations and industry activities
  • Friendly competitions (including WOO leaderboard challenges)
All experiences are operated solely by Off The Hook Kiteboarding Inc.

 Independent Operation & Brand Partnership
Off The Hook Kiteboarding INC may collaborate with equipment brands, including Duotone Kiteboarding & Wing foiling (Boards & More), for demo equipment and marketing support.
All experiences are independently operated by Off The Hook Kiteboarding Inc. Brand partners are not responsible for:
  • Experience operations
  • Participant supervision
  • Safety oversight
  • Lodging arrangements
  • Liability
All liability rests solely with Off The Hook Kiteboarding Inc.

Age Requirement
All participants in Off The Hook Experiences must be at least 18 years of age at the start date of the experience.
By booking and submitting payment, participants represent and warrant that they meet the minimum age requirement.
Off The Hook Kiteboarding Inc. does not permit minors to participate in these experiences. If a booking is made for an individual under the age of 18, Off The Hook reserves the right to cancel the reservation. In such cases, any payments made may be forfeited in accordance with the cancellation policy.

 All-Inclusive Pricing Structure
Experiences are sold as a single bundled package price. This includes lodging and the outlined experience elements.
Participants understand:
  • The package price is not itemized
  • Unused portions of the package are non-refundable
  • Early departure does not qualify for partial refund

Participant Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for:
  • Airfare and transportation to/from Hood River
  • Personal travel insurance
  • Medical insurance
  • Alcohol and incidental hotel charges
  • Any optional add-on activities not listed in itinerary
Off The Hook is not responsible for missed flights, travel delays, or airline disruptions.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Deposits & Payment
  • Full payment of Experience is due upon booking
Spots are limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation Policy
Participant Cancellation
  • Cancellations more than 60 days prior will receive a full refund of their deposit.
  • Cancellations within 60 days will receive a partial refund of 50%.
  • No refunds for:
    • Cancellations less than 30 days from first day of booked experience
    • Unused services
    • Early departure
    • Missed sessions
    • No-shows
Company Cancellation
Off The Hook reserves the right to cancel due to:
  • Unsafe weather conditions
  • Force majeure events
  • Government restrictions
If canceled by Off The Hook, participants will receive:
  • Credit toward a future experience
Off The Hook is not responsible for airfare or third-party expenses.

Assumption of Risk
Kiteboarding and wing foiling are inherently dangerous activities that involve serious risk, including but not limited to:
  • Changing wind conditions
  • Strong river currents
  • Equipment malfunction
  • High-speed impacts
  • Collision with other riders
  • Drowning
  • Physical overexertion
Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
All participants must sign a separate liability waiver prior to participating in any water activity.

Physical Fitness & Skill Requirements
Participants must:
  • Meet the minimum skill level described in the trip outline
  • Be physically capable of participating in high-intensity watersports
  • Disclose any relevant medical conditions
Off The Hook reserves the right to limit or restrict participation if safety concerns arise.

Code of Conduct
To maintain the culture and safety of the experience:
  • Responsible alcohol consumption only
  • No illegal drug use
  • No riding under the influence
  • Respect for instructors, participants, locals, and environment
  • Compliance with local regulations
Off The Hook reserves the right to remove any participant for unsafe or disruptive behavior without refund.

​Right to Remove Participants 
Off The Hook Kiteboarding Inc. is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all participants.
Off The Hook Kiteboarding Inc. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove any participant from the experience if their behavior is deemed unsafe, reckless, disruptive, or otherwise creates a risk to themselves, other participants, instructors, staff, or the public.
Examples of behavior that may result in removal include, but are not limited to:
  • Riding or attempting to ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Ignoring instructor safety guidance
  • Operating equipment in a reckless or dangerous manner
  • Harassment or threatening behavior toward others
  • Conduct that jeopardizes group safety or the integrity of the experience
If a participant is removed for safety or behavioral reasons:
  • The participant will not be permitted to continue participating in activities and removed from the experience.
  • No refunds or credits will be issued.
  • The participant will be responsible for their own lodging, transportation, and any additional expenses resulting from removal.
Off The Hook Kiteboarding Inc. reserves the right to make all safety determinations in the best interest of the group.

Lodging Disclaimer
Lodging is arranged by Off The Hook as part of the package.
Off The Hook is not the owner or operator of the lodging facility and is not responsible for:
  • Loss or theft of personal items
  • Hotel policy enforcement
  • Third-party service failures
  • Property damage caused by guests
Participants are responsible for incidental charges and damages.

Weather & Wind Disclaimer
Wind-dependent sports cannot be guaranteed.
No guarantees are made regarding:
  • Number of windy days
  • Rideable conditions
  • Specific wind strength
  • Weather patterns
The experience is an immersive camp, not a guaranteed wind event.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Off The Hook Kiteboarding Inc. shall not be liable for:
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of income or opportunity
  • Travel-related losses
  • Personal injury beyond the scope of signed waiver protections
Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the total amount paid for the experience.

Media Release
Participants grant Off The Hook Kiteboarding permission to photograph and record video during the experience for promotional and marketing purposes unless written notice is provided prior to the event.

Force Majeure
Off The Hook shall not be liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control, including:
  • Natural disasters
  • Extreme weather
  • Government actions
  • Pandemics
  • Travel disruptions

 Agreement
​By submitting payment for the Off The Hook Experiences Equipped with Duotone Hood River, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
