what gear do i need to bring?
We’ve got the gear covered. Your experience includes access to the latest Duotone kiteboarding and wing foiling equipment, including kites, bars, boards, wings, wing boards, and foils.

- Wetsuit
- Helmet
- Impact vest / flotation vest
- Gloves or other personal protection if preferred
Can i bring my own gear?
Yes — you are welcome to bring your own kiteboarding or wing foiling equipment if you prefer riding your personal setup. Bringing your own gear does not change the price of the experience, as access to the latest Duotone equipment is included as part of the trip for all participants. We will be able to store you gear for you during your stay.
what skill level is required?
These experiences are designed for riders who already have basic riding ability and can ride independently. If you’re unsure whether the experience is right for your skill level, feel free to reach out and we can help determine if it’s a good fit.
how do i get to the experience?
Guests are responsible for arranging their own airfare and ground transportation to Hood River. After booking your spot, you will receive a confirmation email with detailed location information and recommendations to help you plan your travel.
what airport do i fly into?
You will make arrangements to fly into Portland International Airport. Airport code PDX
how do i get from the airport to hood river?
There are taxi services that are available from PDX to Hood River. The drive is 1 hour and may cost between $125-$150. You may also rent a vehicle as your room comes with a parking spot at the hotel.
can i upgrade my room?
Room upgrades may be available upon request depending on hotel availability. While upgrades cannot be guaranteed, we will do our best to accommodate requests. can i change my trip dates?
No. Each experience runs on specific scheduled dates. While you are welcome to arrive late or depart early if needed, the booking covers the full duration of the trip and the package price remains the same.
can i bring a guest?
Each spot purchased is intended for one individual. Depending on hotel availability, we may be able to accommodate two guests in a single room.
If two guests share a room, the package price cannot be split and will be adjusted accordingly for both individuals. Please note that the standard rooms include a single queen bed, so a room upgrade will be required to comfortably accommodate two guests.
We also ask that any guest joining the experience is also a kiteboarder or wing foiler with the required skills, as the trip is designed around daily wind sessions and shared time on the water. Keeping everyone involved in the riding helps maintain the high-energy, stoke-filled atmosphere of the experience.
