week one in the books
Well week one of the blog is done! I never thought after college I'd want to wake up and write about anything ever again, but this is actually pretty fun! Seems like everyone has been enjoying my daily input, and that just makes me a smitten kitten haha. So again thanks to everyone who has reached out over the week in support and stoke over the blog!
As far as our weather goes today we are lookin pretty good. We may not be seeing the low 30s they were forecasting last night, but I'll take low 20s any day. I am a tad apprehensive about the start time. Currently in Belmont Shore we are seeing cloudy skies with the wind blowing 13 MPH onshore from the South. Not an ideal start for the numbers and direction they are calling for. Fingers crossed that direction begins to shift over the next hour or so to start blowing in from the West/Southwest. That's when we will start to see what they have projected below. Until then, this dang South wind is raining on our parade a little. My call for the day is winds slowly switching West/Southwest late morning early afternoon and winds hitting close to the numbers we are seeing below. Foilers and twin tippers can look forward to a fun day out in Belmont Shore.
I had mentioned putting on a Duotone Demo today in yesterday's blog. Unfortunately, scheduling and staying up late last night inventorying and putting together boards got the best of me. I won't be doing a demo in Belmont today, but fear not my friends! I will be putting together my Demo schedule over the next week, and posting it on here and my social media. As a bonus I will have more kites for my official demos as yesterday's haul was only a fraction of the fun I'll be handing out this season! I know a lot of you are interested in trying out Duotone's new foil kite the Capa. I will have that kite and many more once I set my schedule! So no demo today, but I'm always here to answer any Duotone or Ion questions you have. Stoked to see everyone out there today. Happy kiting!

So will we get a midday update if the wind is coming in? I'm hoping I can get out with a TT and 12mt
